The Ledger

The Ledger is part of ALTAR Leather Goods - objects designed for daily use and long-term ownership.

Crafted from full-grain cow leather, the highest grade of leather available, this cardholder retains the natural grain, strength, and character of the hide.

Vegetable tanned, the leather develops depth over time. It darkens slightly, softens and ecords use. No two pieces will age identically.

Slim in profile but structured in construction, The Ledger carries five card slots with satin-lined interiors for smooth access and subtle contrast.

Edges are sealed and finished for durability and a clean hand feel.

Fabric & Construction
The Ledger is made from 100% full-grain cow leather.

Full-grain leather preserves the outermost layer of the hide, maintaining maximum strength and durability. Unlike corrected or split leather, it retains its natural texture and character.

Vegetable tanning uses natural tannins rather than synthetic chemicals, allowing the leather to age with visible patina. Over time, cognac will deepen in tone and develop a rich sheen.

Edges are sealed and burnished for a smooth, premium finish that resists fraying.

Interior card slots are satin-lined for ease of use and subtle refinement.
